Crabapple, ‘Sargent’ Malus sargentii zones 3-8. 1-2′ tall + roots. Native to Japan, but widely planted in the US as an ornamental and wildlife food and habitat. It typically grows wider than tall: 6-8′ tall by 15′ wide. The fragrant blossoms are red in bud and white when fully opened.
