Trees and shrubs intended for digging and shipping are best dug after they are dormant, typically in late Nov. We hold them in cold storage so they are ready to be shipped anytime through the winter, until early May. Best time to plant most is 4-6 before your last frost--they can take some cold weather once they are in the ground.

You can order now to reserve your plants. Some bare root trees and shrubs start shipping in late Nov. to mid-Dec., only herbaceous perennials and Peonies can ship in the Fall. [Sorry, no sales to CA, OR, WA, or outside the continental US.] 

Shipping--After you order on the website, we will contact you at your email address about when you would like us to ship:
- as soon as possible
- on a date of your choosing
- have us pick a date appropriate for your area
