Forsythia 'Lynwood Gold.' Forsythia x intermedia 'Lynwood Gold.' USDA zones 5-8. Thrives in full sun to part shade. This fast growing shrub reaches 6'-9' high and wide at full maturity.

One of the first plants to bloom in spring, it produces an explosion of small, golden flowers that fade through the season and give way to deep green foliage. Rising to heights of 8' or more, it makes a wonderful privacy hedge and is tolerant of shaping.

It can adapt to a variety of soil conditions but prefers moist, well-draining soils. While it grows best in full sun, this shrub can grow even in the shade of a deep woodland area.

Dormant, bare root plant, 18-24" tall + roots.
