The New Jersey Tea is a highly adaptable, nitrogen fixing shrub capable of enduring inhospitable soil conditions due to its extensive deep root system. Blooming around mid-summer, it produces clusters of small white flowers providing food to pollinators as the spring blooms of other shrubs begin to die back. This shrub, native to the central and eastern United States can also be used to make a tea that gained popularity during the Revolutionary War.
Sold as a bare root plant, 12-18" plus roots.
