Hydrangea macrophylla 'Nikko Blue'  A superb shrub for accent, specimen or border use, it has large, abundant, showy blue flower clusters. It blooms starting in early summer and produces new flower stems until the end of summer. It blooms on old wood so do any desired pruning after bloom. When planted in acidic soils, it produces blue flowers; in more alkaline soils, flower color may have a pink hue. Grows 4-6' tall and wide. Prefers some shade. Sold as a rooted cutting, 10-18" plus roots.
