Phlox, 'Miss Pepper.' Phlox paniculata. Zones 4-8. This is a cultivar of Phlox paniculata, which is native the entire eastern US, including from Wisconsin to Louisiana. Miss Pepper has abundant blooms of pink, accented by darker pinkish-red eyes, and a spicy scent.
Bare root Phlox can be planted in the fall, or in the spring. Sold as a bare root plant.
