Serviceberry, Shadbush. Amelanchier canadensis (species). USDA z4-7. Sometimes known as Shadblow Serviceberry. Prefers moist, well-drained soil. White flowers in April are a welcome sign of spring. Grows 15-25' tall. Sold as a bare root plant, 10-16" plus roots.
